Since 2014, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition's Housing Counseling Network has partnered with eHomeAmerica, the nation's premier online homeownership education program offering access to quality education for first-time home buyers. NCRC's mission is to work together with its grassroots member organizations to create opportunities for people to build wealth. We work with community leaders, policymakers and financial institutions to champion fairness in banking, housing and business development.
eHomeAmerica allows NCRC to offer quality homebuyer education to clients anytime, and anywhere throughout the nation. eHomeAmerica allows those searching for a home ownership emersion experience to study at their own pace, and at a time and place convenient to them.
eHomeAmerica is an easy-to-use platform that covers the core-content areas of Homebuyer Education including budgeting, credit, savings plans and other key concepts of the purchasing process. Participants will also find user-friendly videos, content-related quizzes, and a printed certificate upon successful completion of the course work.
With over 50 video tutorials offered in both English and Spanish, eHomeAmerica is the most comprehensive online homebuyer-training course available. This program was developed around the "Realizing the American Dream" educational text.
From this content, numerous educational videos were produced along with interactive forms and other downloadable materials. All items in this program are designed to enhance understanding of the home buying process, from start to finish.
The Home Ownership education courses are available in both English and Spanish. The fee for this course is only $99.
The Money Management education courses are available in both English and Spanish. The fee for this course is only $45.
The Foreclosure Education courses are available only in English and do not have a fee attached.
