Mid Michigan Community Action (MMCAA) is a private, nonprofit human services agency serving low-income individuals and families for over 50 years. MMCAA strives to serve the needs of the whole community through numerous outreach, housing, and early childhood services. The agency's mission is to "guide local residents on the path to self-sufficiency through empowerment, education and community enrichment.”

We believe that a component of our service is education which is why we’ve partnered with eHome America to offer this online course. By completing this course, participants gain the tools to navigate the homebuying process. By working with MMCAA, participants gain access to a HUD Certified Housing Counselor with the experience to accompany them through the process.

The course covers topics like: steps of the homebuying process, preparing for expenses, financial management of homeownership, and post-purchase tips to keep you on track.

A brief follow-up call with MMCAA is required in order to receive your certificate.
