Information about this Agency:

CARE Housing Services Corporation is a California non-profit that helps develop and maintain affordable housing in California. Starting in 1989 CARE has participated in the development and operation of over 2,000 residential units in over 50 affordable housing rental projects, primarily in Southern California.

Recently, CARE has a new directive that will expand it's services and the number of people they can affect in a positive way. Neighborhood Stabilization and Home Buyer Assistance, where CARE desires to enhance specific targeted neighborhoods with safe, decent, affordable single family homes and help those individuals that meet the affordability criteria, be educated with home ownership, pre-qualify for owning a home and provide specific assistance with regard to their down payment, closing costs, etc. via grants and other financial assistance.
