As part of your registration:

All Borrowers on the loan (Borrower and co-borrower if applicable) will need to register and pay the course fee separately.
Only the borrower and/or co-borrower must complete the registration and the online course.
After completing the online course, a telephone counseling is required with the pre-selected counseling agency to obtain your certificate.

Information about this Agency:

The Douglas County Housing Partnership is a Multi-Jurisdictional Housing Authority that was created to address a variety of housing needs in Douglas County and the surrounding areas. DCHP provides counseling services for Pre-Purchase, Foreclosure Prevention, Reverse Mortgages, and Financial Literacy. In addition DCHP provides Down Payment Assistance to qualified first time home buyers who wish to purchase a home in Douglas County. DCHP also works in partnership with private developers to provide affordable rental housing for low-income families in Douglas County.
