Housing Services Mid Michigan (HSMM)

Housing Services Mid Michigan’s Housing Counseling Program provides pre-purchase education, pre-purchase counseling and foreclosure counseling for low to moderate income households throughout Eaton and Barry counties. Within the Housing Counseling Program, HSMM works to assist individuals purchase or maintain affordable housing through education and counseling programs. The program seeks to empower potential homeowners and homeowners to make decisions that lead to affordable homeownership through education and counseling services. HSMM’s services are targeted for individuals purchasing their first home, struggling to maintain homeownership, or looking to purchase after recovering from a previous foreclosure.
