CCCSMD is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community service organization whose mission is to stabilize communities by creating hope and promote economic self-sufficiency to individuals, families through financial literacy education and counseling.
A member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), CCCSMD meets the highest quality counseling standards. As a full-service personal credit and housing counseling provider, we offer consumer credit education and counseling, housing counseling and education, asset building and debt management programs and services face-to-face, via telephone, via the internet and through community based partnerships and events.
CCCSMD serves all segments of the community without regard to income, age, gender, race or ethnicity; however, over 90% of our clients are low to moderate income (according to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development guidelines).

Most federal, state or local down payment assistance programs have additional counseling requirements and or that counseling can only be done by certain agencies. Make certain before enrolling in this course that you are aware of your program's requirements.
