The Agency focuses its attention on specific problems affecting the community, mobilizes resources, and creates solutions to unlock opportunities for low-income families. Opportunities for Otsego mission is to be the leader in developing innovative solutions that promote healthy lives, thriving families, and caring communities.

In the spirit of Community Action, Opportunities for Otsego offers a variety of services and programs that strive to eliminate poverty and help people help themselves. Housing Services under the Opportunities for Otsego umbrella includes: homebuyer education, housing counseling, to include budget counseling, assisted home performance with EnergyStar(R), and Housing and Employment services.
