The Religious Coalition for Community Renewal

The Religious Coalition for Community Renewal, established in 1987, is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization in Charleston, West Virginia. Acting cooperatively from our various faith traditions, the Religious Coalition for Community Renewal develops projects and programs which help renew our community by identifying, addressing, and overcoming obstacles which keep people from decent, affordable housing. Our Housing Counseling Program was implemented in 1995. We have counseled over 3000 families and have helped over 700 families become first-time home owners. Working with a housing counselor, each family or individual is able to resolve their unique issues and make home ownership a reality.
