The Neighbor Project is a community-based nonprofit organization established in 1990 to address affordable housing needs in the Aurora area. Our mission is to empower individuals, stabilize families, and revitalize neighborhoods through a variety of economic and social initiatives.
The Neighbor Project increases homeownership opportunities by offering education and counseling for first-time homebuyers. We achieve our goal of providing quality-affordable housing through rehabilitation of distressed properties and by developing rental housing. The Neighbor Project employs a professional, bi-lingual staff and is governed by a volunteer board of directors.
The Neighbor Project is a registered 501 (c) (3) organization, under the laws of the State of Illinois.
PLEASE NOTE: Please be sure your are registering for the correct course. The Homebuyer Education is $99 and the Foreclosure Education is free. You will need to complete the following information prior to your follow up session to receive your certificate. Please download, complete and return to our office.
